Sessions are 90 minute facilitated conversations during which Jon will ask you specific questions, guide you through mental exercises— all within the comfort of your chair.
You simply need to have a video conference facility and microphone.
The journey of self discovery and personal fulfillment/achievement never ends— the client dictates the pace at which they open new chapters in life. Typically, sessions last a good month or so before clients return for follow ups for as long as they wish.
Working Premise: Ending the War Within
Question: How do you defeat yourself in an arm-wrestle?
When it comes to creating personal change, most people have the instinct to overcome their perceived limitations: block out negative thoughts and grind it out to learn new behaviors, for example. While this has an appropriate and helpful place in many contexts such as sports, competitive arenas, raising a family, and life & death situations— it is not a sustainable way to effect lasting change in your life. Trying to win a war against yourself is futile— there will always be another conflict to be had.
The working premise of these sessions: How can we reconcile the many aspects of our lives that seem to be in conflict with one another?
Every behavior and experience you have is useful in some context— or you would not have learned to perform them so consistently and reliably. However, many behaviors and experiences have long outlived their use— especially within the context of who you are today and what you want for your future. The purpose of the session is to:
Reveal what these are and how they have been imperative to your life.
Revise them to be in more harmony with who you are now and who you are becoming.
Note: The frames used in sessions are simply useful frames— not immutable truths. Think of them as lenses— you are empowered to put them on and take them off as you see fit.
How Does The Transformational Session Work?
Through a 4-phase series of intentional questioning and deep reframing:
Goals: Clarify your important outcome and experience— how you will know specifically when you have achieved what you wanted?
Systemic Consequences: How the specific outcome with impact the important aspects of your life.
Patterns of Unwanted Experience: The unconscious drivers behind the unwanted experiences you have been repeatedly having.
Revising & Rewriting: We revise the hidden assumptions, beliefs, and mental blocks such that you can move towards your outcome with greater ease and grace. How will your story play out in the future? How might it have played out differently had you known what you know now… but back then?
About Your Facilitator
Jon Low is a Transformational NLP practitioner, founder coach, trainer, and facilitator. His professional experience spans the disciplines of design & engineering, systems modeling & decision-making, and coaching for performance.
His clients come from all walks of life including: CEOs, VC-backed founders, athletes, executives, creatives, and everyday human beings at the cusp of a significant transformation in life (career, relationships, purpose). Jon is especially helpful when individuals are seeking conviction in their decision-making within specific constraints and dependencies.
For over 20 years, Jon has been both a student and facilitator of professional growth via numerous modalities including; martial arts, interpersonal communication, mindfulness, systemic constellations, and performance consulting.
Jon is also founder of Polaris Alpha, an executive advisory, delivering tactical support & founder coaching for early/early-growth stage startups.
